I just love to photograph winter weddings. Brittany and Nathan had a small intimate wedding a couple weeks back, and the rain and cold weather only added to the cozy feeling of the day. We started shooting in the morning at the Randolph Hotel and then drove to a tiny Oxfordshire village for the ceremony. Their close family and friends were there to see them wed and celebrate back at the Randolph. While the guests were enjoying their drinks, we braved the rain for a photo session on the streets of Oxford. The rain actually made a beautiful backdrop for the photos, don’t you agree? They were a total treat to photograph and clearly crazy about each other. Congratulations you two!
Venue: The Randolph Hotel
Dress: Phase 8 – I love this dress!
I always love looking at the pictures of your wedding. They really capture the essence of the couples photographed and it is as if you get to step inside the day. The whimsical touches on the outfits of the bride and groom – from the yellow shoes and fur stole to go with her gorgeous detailed dress to the kilt on the groom in this spread are just the tip of the iceberg. The couple look so happy and so do the parents. Beautiful work.
I have loved looking through this set of wonderful images, they capture the magic of the day so well. I really love the image of the bride and groom by the Christmas tree. Steve & Sandra.
