Last October I attended a fantastic photography workshop with the talented photographer Marianne Taylor, curiously called the MNOO school. It was a fabulous 2 day workshop where 10 amazing photographers gathered to learn from 3 even more amazing photographers- Marianne Taylor, Ed Peers (I love his work!) and Adam Alex. Although it’s hard to describe everything I learned, Marianne sums it up like this ‘ The workshop is for photographers wanting to pursue their life dream by building a successful business around their passion. It’s for artists who want to feel as inspired and excited about creating a satisfying business, as they do about creating images. It’s for dreamers who want to feel like they’re living a meaningful life and running a business that lights them up, while also staying profitable.’…just what I was looking for!
Coming from a fine art/documentary background I wanted to learn more about the business end of photography, but I came away with so much more. I highly recommend the workshop.
We also got a little taster session in the Beloved technique, which was great- here are a few photos from the session. Thank you Emma and Pete from Emma Case Photography for being such amazing models.
