Wedding Venues

After shooting hundreds of weddings in Oxford, I certainly know my way around- from the quintessentially English colleges to rustic barn venues to alternative and unique local haunts, I’ve probably shot a wedding there.  Most couples have already chosen their dream wedding venue when they get in contact with me. When we plan your photography, I’ll let you know the perfect spots in your venue for fantastic images.  I’ll also let you in on the insider scoop about your venue and what other couples say about working there any any tips they have.  I’ve built up some wonderful relationships with many local venue owners and staff to boot.

Local Knowledge

After living in Oxford for 11 years and photographing hundreds of weddings here, I can honestly say that I am an expert on all things wedding.  I know the city incredibly well. This means that I know all the best locations for you to have your photographs taken, and, of course, I’m always happy to share them with my wedding couples! I’m also well-travelled and I’ve lived all over the world. This means I’m very sensitive to cultural differences and I embrace different cultures. This is at the forefront of my mind when suggesting and assisting you with your wedding plans.

One of my amazing brides, Laura from the USA, was kind enough to share some words about how I helped with her wedding plans:

“Rachel was a flexible professional partner in organising our complicated overseas wedding. She is a warm and calm person who is incredibly easy to get along with. Her photography is simply beautiful, and we will treasure it for all our lives together. Thank you so much, Rachel!”

So, if you’re planning to return to Oxford for your wedding and need a little help with your planning, do get in touch to discuss your wedding photography and let’s plan the wedding of your dreams!
