Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I have been hoping to go on a yoga retreat since the birth of my son four years ago. So when Adventure Yogi asked me to join them for a weekend retreat to photograph the weekend, I couldn’t resist. Adventure Yogi specializes in yoga holidays and yoga retreats throughout the UK and abroad. They combine yoga with adventures such as skiing and snowboarding, surfing, hiking, climbing or biking or simply relaxing with wonderful accommodation and delicious vitality foods.
The yoga classes were run by Sally Lovett (below). It was great how she adjusted the postures to students at many levels, from absolute beginners to regular practitioners.

The rooms at the house were absolutely amazing and totally unique. The owners have lovingly restored the house over many years and I just loved all the attention they put into the small details. Poundon House can be hired as an exclusive wedding venue- I would love to shoot a wedding there! Take a peek at the rooms, I’m sure you will agree that it would be a wonderful venue for a wedding!
