One of the things I love about shooting weddings is that I get to discover some hidden gems.  I never really explored Abingdon, a market town just outside of Oxford, until recently.  Faye and Nick, who recently moved to the area from London, wanted a relaxed garden wedding and found the perfect low key venue at Coesner’s House.  It has lovely grounds right along the river and is just a couple of blocks from the registry office.  In addition to some lovely old architecture and riverside location, Abingdon boasts it’s own donkey sanctuary.  What better way to make a wedding unique than to adopt a sweet donkey for the day!  I love Faye’s dress and the bouquets!I love Nick’s funky ‘ring’ tattoo!
