Belinda and Veikko were married on a gorgeous spring day in the village where Belinda grew up. They were lucky to have some generous neighbors with a beautiful estate to stage their Finnish themed garden party wedding. They wanted a truly documentary style approach, without any posed photographs. I love taking the fly on the wall approach to weddings (and photography in general) so this suited my style perfectly.
I love the simple village church where Belinda and Veikko said their vows. The couple had an entirely unique and personal approach to their wedding decorations. All the tables featured Finnish myths and folktales, below:Guests enjoyed games on the lawn, including the Finnish wedding party game of ‘mobile phone toss’. I think the idea is whoever throws the phone the furthest wins. The winner gets a gold mobile phone medal!
