Just the two of you

An engagement shoot is the perfect way to begin our journey together. Relaxed, unhurried and free to do whatever we please, I can promise you’ll love it.

Almost everyone feels just a little bit uncomfortable in front of the camera. An engagement shoot is the perfect way to overcome the nerves, have fun and relax, while creating a gorgeous set of photographs to remember the magical time in your lives where so much possibility lay ahead of you.

This is our opportunity to have fun and get to know each other better. Our venue can be wherever you choose – perhaps chilling out at home, perhaps at the place you first met. Maybe we’ll head off to a beach, a park… we can go absolutely anywhere. It’s up to your imagination to be as creative as you like!

The photographs we create are perfect for save the date cards, invitations and signing frames, and a lasting memory of the build up to your wedding. You’ll also feel much, much more at ease in front of the camera by the time that the big day arrives!

I include an engagement shoot within my Ganges package, or please contact me to arrange one separately.

Some of my favourite engagement shoots have been where the couple really inject their character and personalities into the session.

I’ve wandered the streets of Paris with a chic couple that made the city their home. Of course we took in the sights with some gorgeous shots in front of the Eiffel Tower, but some of my favourite photos were taken whilst wandering around the backstreets of Paris and exploring the city with a couple who met and fell in love there.

Annie and Ed got down to earth when they took off their shoes and climbed a tree together (which made some amazingly fun shots).

Chris and Georgie went punting on the Thames, which is one of their favourite ways to spend a weekend. This tied into the theme of their wedding at the Cherwell Boathouse, where guests got to try out punting for themselves

Rachel and Timm couple took a sunset ride on a tandem bicycle that the groom to be lovingly restored for the wedding. Timm is a bicycle enthusiast so a tandem bicycle was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement in a very personal way.
